Our design team has infused this soft, rounded, and supple sensibility into the structural design of the "Pengpeng" series. This sense of fluid, yielding elasticity is woven into every detail—from the vegetable-tanned leather and turn-lock clasp to the pockets and handles—creating a tactile experience that is both soothing and utterly captivating.
A gentle, healing, and softly rounded tactile experience defines the signature aesthetic of the "Pengpeng" series.
Design Details:
Twin Pockets: The flap structure employs a "buried-edge" reverse-stitching technique, resulting in a supple, substantial feel. This creates a full, rounded silhouette—devoid of visible exterior seams—that exudes a distinctively "cushioned" aesthetic.
"Pūpū" Turn-Lock: Featuring a rounded, voluminous form, this lock creates a unique, three-dimensional "puffy" effect that perfectly complements the bag body's soft, cushioned contours. Integrated with the brand's signature "R" emblem, it adds a sense of ritual and ceremony to the act of opening the bag.
Elevated Handle Design: The substantial, cushioned handles are set higher than those on traditional Boston bags, offering more generous clearance for carrying by hand. This design strikes a perfect balance between ergonomic comfort and stylish form.
Detachable Long Shoulder Strap: With multiple adjustment points, the strap allows for effortless switching between shoulder and crossbody carrying styles. This versatility meets the demands of various occasions while keeping your hands free.
Rounded Leather Pull: The zipper pull features a soft, supple, and rounded tactile quality—a design detail that embodies the core aesthetic of the "Pūpū" series.

"Cloud-Touch" Breathable Vegetable-Tanned Leather
Tactile sensations can carry emotion—much like vegetable-tanned leather, which holds memories within its very fibers.
This "breathable, cloud-like vegetable-tanned leather" is crafted from premium European calfskin hides, allowing a natural luster to radiate through the pores. Far removed from the cold, rapid processing of industrial manufacturing, the leather undergoes a prolonged tanning process—lasting twelve times longer than standard methods—using a blend of plant-based tannins and animal fats. This meticulous technique preserves the leather's natural attributes to the greatest extent possible. Each hide undergoes multiple heat-shrinking cycles to reveal a vintage-style "water-ripple" texture and subtle dual-tone variations. Like nature's own fingerprint, this process infuses the material with a unique vitality that is impossible to replicate.
Its ever-deepening luster and supple touch are the result of a "taming" process by time itself—leaving behind the indelible imprint of a material that has truly "lived."
